The effect should look natural, not like clearly “dyed” hair — this is the key difference compared to coloring, which more often changes the shade in a more noticeable way.

I start the first camouflage visit with the smallest possible intervention — usually just the temples and the hairline, because in most men that’s where gray hair appears first. I don’t dye the whole head “just in case”.

The goal is reduction, not removal. A bit of gray can and should remain — it’s precisely what makes the effect look natural, rather than like dyed hair.

In practice, the goal of this service is exactly the opposite effect — well-chosen camouflage should look as if the gray hair is simply less visible, not as if the hair has been “over-dyed” into one flat color.
